The understanding of social responsibility, which aims to give back to society the knowledge, skills, experience, and resources that a person has gained as a community member, is a valuable bond that strengthens unity and solidarity in societies.  In this context, Performed projects provide numerous benefits both to their beneficiaries and to society.

Based on this awareness, the scope of the My Business Partner Project, which is carried out by our university, is being implemented within the ENHANCER Project, funded by the European Union and conducted by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in coordination with the Directorate General of Development Agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, highly motivated mentor participants who have a sense of social responsibility are searching.

The criteria for mentors are listed as follows:

• Being between the ages of 18-30

• Have a minimum of B1 level of English proficiency

• Volunteered before or motivation for to be a volunteer

• To be able to fully participate in the project activities

• Be interested in entrepreneurship.

Within the scope of the project, which covers 12 months with all its stages, a 6-week training program will be held once a week, and followed by training program a 4-week workshop program once a week will be performed. At the end of the project, which will take place in the Rectorate Building of our university in Avcilar, training certificates will be given to the participants who fully participate in the activities, and the training content is listed as follows:

1. " Business and Brand Management”

2. "Stress and Time Management"

3. "Effective Communication and Body Language"

4. "Pre-Accounting"

5. "Commercial Law- Summary Information"

6. “KOSGEB Grant Incentives”

 

The potential contributions of the project to the participants are as follows:

• Participants will have the opportunity to develop/implement their entrepreneurial ideas thanks to the training they will receive on entrepreneurship. 

• Mentors will be able to strengthen their English language skills since some of the training will be held in English.

• Since the project processes are generally related to social life, the awareness level of the participants towards the outside world will have increased and the awareness of volunteerism will have established, especially for the mentors.

• With the activities to be carried out within the project's scope, the participants will be instilled with treat equally and approach tolerantly to each member of society.

• Participants will strengthen their self-expression skills with the training and workshop activities to be carried out.

• With the motivation of being a good team member, which is one of the most important requirements of the age, "the ability to work together" will be strengthened.

• With the training certificates to be given to the participants at the end of the project, the CVs of the participating students will be strengthened and the project will be an awareness tool for the participants.

• Within the framework of the “Employment Fair” to be held at the end of the project, it will be possible for participants to strengthen their network.
