My Business Partner Project is being implemented within the ENHANCER Project which is funded by the European Union and conducted by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in coordination with the Directorate General of Development Agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and has got partnership with Istanbul Gelisim University and Refugees Association.

Coordinator institution Istanbul Gelisim University has a mission, as a young new generation university, aims to become a prestigious world university that has gained a place in the international arena with its modern, developing, producing, and quality education approach; its goal is to contribute to the country, society and people through science within the scope of the project.

Within the framework of this mission, Istanbul Gelisim University has the motivation to create value for society by preparing projects both national and international project calls.

 

Refugees Association, which is established to find solutions to the problems of people who have left their country and need international protection, carries out studies for refugees and local people in many fields, especially education, and health, with its staff consisting of different nationalities.

Our partner, which carries out its activities without any discrimination based on language, religion, race, gender, age, disability, or political opinion, works in cooperation with private sector organizations to support the elimination of all their vital needs, especially the primary concerns of refugees and to ensure their rapid integration with society, and also cooperate with non-governmental organizations and public institutions.

 

The existence of Istanbul Gelişim University as an educational institution within the scope of the project is valuable in terms of the effective fulfillment of the educational activities in the project.  The existence of Refugees Association, which has the status of "Public-benefit nonprofit corporation", is of great importance, since Refugees Association has already practiced working with the target group of the project,  Syrians with the status of "Temporary protection" and also their existence of great importance for supplying the inclusion of Syrians into the project.

Both institutions carry out studies for the effective implementation of the project by including their human, physical, and financial funds within the scope of the project partnership. In this respect, it is aimed to spread the effect of the project to the wider masses by starting with a team of 50 people in the first stage.

In addition, the fact that the project is designed within the framework of university-NGO cooperation makes the project special and important.
