My Business Partner Project which is carried out by Istanbul Gelisim University, is being implemented within the ENHANCER Project, funded by the European Union and conducted by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in coordination with the Directorate General of Development Agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye completed its first workshop activity with the theme of communication.

The communication workshop was held on July 24, 2023, for making the knowledge that was transferred to the participants during the 6-week theoretical training, practical. In the workshop held by Training Coordinator Prof.Dr. William MOSIER, the participants were interactively informed about the essential elements of the continuity of the enterprises. In this context, the communication process, the key to sustainability was discussed and the participants were made to think about the elements of the communication processes. Besides that with the activity of “Draw If You Can” the importance of eye contact, feedback, asking questions, active listening, interpretation, gestures, and facial expressions, which are the basic elements of the communication process, were discussed for an effective communication process.

With this workshop held within the scope of the project, significant contributions were made to the personal and professional development of the participants by increasing their communication skills both in their social and business lives. At the same time, it is aimed to contribute to facilitating the integration of Syrian participants into society, especially with the awareness to be created by the conducted workshop.
