My Business Partner Project which is carried out by Istanbul Gelisim University, is being implemented within the ENHANCER Project, funded by the European Union and conducted by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in coordination with the Directorate General of Development Agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye completed its third workshop activity with the theme of dealing with difficult customers on the date of 14 August 2023.

Within the scope of the workshop activity conducted by Training Coordinator Prof. Dr. William MOSIER, the concept of personality and the distinctive features of different personality types (argumentative, dissatisfied, pessimistic, etc.) were shared with the participants. Following this, the processes of identifying possible problems that may arise during the communication phase and solutions to these possible problems were discussed.  The importance of empathy and eye contact was demonstrated through practical activities carried out with the participants. At the same time, the process of developing strategies for dealing with difficult customers and ways to dissipate customer’s anger or customer’s hostility were discussed at the workshop.

With this workshop held within the scope of the project is aimed at strengthening the communication skills of the participants both in their business and social lives and raising awareness about the reconciliation and solution-oriented approach in human affairs.
